HALL: County confirms 14th rabies case of 2011 | News

GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Hall County Animal Services on Thursday confirmed the county's 14th rabies case of 2011.
A skunk acting abnormally was found in the area of Gillsville Highway and Ga. 52 in November. It was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab in Decatur, where it tested positive for rabies.

Hall County officials urge pet owners to vaccinate their animals against rabies. Vaccines are $10 and are available Tuesday through Friday at the Hall County Animal Shelter in Gainesville.
