News

GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Newt Gingrich wrapped up another night and day of Georgia campaigning Wednesday.

With Gov. Nathan Deal at his side, the GOP presidential candidate spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of Republicans in the Gainesville Civic Center.

Hall County is home to the governor and Lt. Governor Casey Cagle. It is one of the most Republican congressional districts in the South.

And it is here that Gingrich is calling on those loyal to his ideas and message to help him on Super Tuesday.

Super Tuesday has 10 states in play with 419 delegates; 76 of those are from Georgia.

Gingrich has said winning Georgia is crucial to his campaign.
