Mark your calendar for an Open Air Market this Saturday!  If you're not familiar with The Cumming Harvest already, it's a great resource for finding local, fresh, organic produce and foods.  No chemicals are ever used and all food is local!  The Market is typically an online market - meaning you place your order online each Wednesday through Thursday.  Then on Saturday your order is available for pick up.

However, this Saturday, The Market is hosting an Open Air Market which is a great way to meet the growers, ask questions and even sample some food!  They'll have Bluegrass Music and Face-Painting as well for entertainment.

Hall County, GA--  If you old large household appliances taking up room in your house,  now is your chance to have the city pick them up and dispose of it for you.  Hall County residents can register for pickups by calling Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Feb. 21 to March 4.

Hall County Burn Ban Lifted in 4 Days. Just in Time for you Fall Leaves

Atlanta, GA-- On Oct. 1, 2010, residents of Hall County will again be allowed to burn natural plant growth…that is, with the proper permits.

Hall County Fire Services offers two types of permits: residential burn permits and land-clearing burn permits.

  • A residential burn permit is for someone who wants to burn leaves and small tree limbs (no bigger than 3 inches in diameter). To obtain a residential burn permit, call 770-536-2442. This is an automated line and residents should follow the instructions.
